After a few decades, the original mobile artillery craft, while cheap and easily massed produced, was just not cutting it anymore. they called them all in, and retired them, selling a few to museums and private collectors, but mainly scrapping them. It was a very long day, for many people protested the extermination of these early war machines that were once so feared, because they could take down techs around 5x larger than themselves. 30 years later, the grandson of the creator of the original mobile artillery created a second mobile artillery with more weapons,armor,battery power, and guns. It moved just as fast, turned the same, but also had a slightly steeper angle for over twice as much range. he proposed the idea to the military who gladly excepted it. they started producing them, and were surprised to see just how effective they were, and were excited to see that they were just as damaging as the first mobile artillery when they came out.
