BlindRank - Hide Ranks in Online Ranked Matches

Description

Ever wanted to play Tekken 8 without knowing your opponent's rank? Now you can. BlindRank hides all rank related information during online ranked matches so you can focus purely on the gameplay and not on who you are fighting.

This mod hides rank badges for both you and your opponent during the match, Tekken Prowess numbers for both players, the PROMOTION CHANCE and DEMOTION CHANCE text, the rank progress bar on the results screen, rank promotion and demotion popups, and point gain and loss on the post match screen.

Your rank still goes up and down normally on Bandai Namco's servers. This mod only hides the visuals on your screen so you have no idea what rank your opponent is.

To install you need UE4SS v3. 0. 1 which you can download from the UE4SS GitHub page. Then copy the BlindRank folder into your Mods folder, add BlindRank to your mods.txt file and launch the game normally.

This mod is client side only and does not touch any game data, memory or network packets. It only hides UI elements on your screen.

Installation instructions

First you need to install UE4SS which is the mod framework that makes this work. Download the latest version from the UE4SS GitHub page at github.com/UE4SS-RE/RE-UE4SS/releases and extract all the files into this exact folder on your PC: Steam\steamapps\common\TEKKEN 8\Polaris\Binaries\Win64

Then download this mod and copy the BlindRank folder into the Mods folder which is located at Steam\steamapps\common\TEKKEN 8\Polaris\Binaries\Win64\Mods

After that open the mods.txt file inside the Mods folder with Notepad and add this line: BlindRank : 1

Now launch Tekken 8 normally through Steam. A small black console window will appear alongside the game and that is completely normal. The mod will activate automatically as soon as you enter an online ranked match.

If the mod stops working after a Tekken 8 update please leave a comment and I will update it as soon as possible.

Requirements
