📋 About This Mod
WIDOWED
Build your own floating companion family.
Widowed lets you summon glowing orb companions and make each one your own.
Give them names, choose what they do, decide how they follow you and build whatever group suits the way you play.
One companion or a whole family. Your choice.
BUILD YOUR FAMILY
Mix different companions together or summon several of the same kind.
Each orb is its own companion and can be set up differently from the others.
SIX ROLES
WARDEN
Calls creatures to fight beside you. Choose from 27 different summons.
MENDER
Keeps you alive with healing. Let it watch your health automatically or control it yourself.
SPARK
Your offensive spellcaster.
Use fire, ice or a simple free attack. Bring several Sparks and they can all fight at the same time.
SEEKER
Helps while exploring.
Gather plants and resources, mine ore, light dark places or scout nearby items.
ARCHIVIST
Your protector.
Use shields and defensive abilities when things get dangerous.
HEX
Weakens enemies so you and the rest of your companions have an easier fight.
USE THEM HOWEVER YOU WANT
There is no fixed party.
Bring one of each.
Bring several Sparks.
Use Wardens to bring extra creatures into a fight.
Mix them however you like.
MAKE THEM YOURS
Each orb can have its own:
• Automatic or manual use
• Ability key
• Follow distance
• Movement speed
• Movement style
Choose how they move around you:
Shoulder — stays close.
Trail — follows behind.
Orbit — moves around you.
THE COMMAND WHEEL
Select an orb and open its wheel.
From there you can choose its abilities, change how it behaves and give it commands without digging through menus.
You can also give each orb its own ability key for quick use.
Default command wheel key: NumPad 1
This can be changed in the settings.
COMMANDS
Follow — come with you.
Hold — stay where you are.
Recall — return to your side.
Dismiss — send the orb away.
