Set

Set - The Family Game of Visual Perception! Base deck from the official Set game. It can be played with 1 or several players. How to play Set consists of 81 different cards. Each card has 4 distinctive features: - Number: one, two, or three; - Color: red, purple, or green; - Shape: squiggle, oval, or diamond; - Shading: solid, striped, or outlined. To form a Set, you must find 3 cards where each feature is simultaneously the SAME on each card or DIFFERENT on each card. As such, every color must be the same or different on all 3 cards; every shape must be the same or different on all 3 cards; and so forth. Remember: If 2 cards have the same feature and 1 doesn't, it's NOT a Set. The game starts with 12 cards facing up. The players don't take turns; instead, they must find a Set as quickly as possible and announce it to get a point. Wrong guesses will give -1 point. Once someone finds a Set, the three cards taken by the player should be replaced by new ones from the deck. If everyone agrees that there are no Sets on the table, 3 more cards are turned, but only once the number of cards in play gets below 12 is when new cards will replace the removed ones.
