Magic Realm - Karim's Redesign [Remastered ~ Scripted]

Welcome to the Magic Realm! Magic Realm is a fantasy adventure board game designed by Richard Hamblen and published by Avalon Hill in 1979. Magic Realm is more complex than many wargames and is somewhat similar to a role-playing game. It can be played solitaire or with up to 16 players and game time can last 4 hours or more. The game board is a type of geomorphic mapboard constructed of large double-sided hexagon tiles, ensuring a wide variety of playing surfaces. ~Mod Features~ High resolution, crisp textures. Hand crafted table and game components. Support for up to 10 players, solo or multiplayer. Automated game setup - including procedural map generation. Included game manual and additional books in the game box Scripted player record sheets. Scripted player aids for quick rules reference. Enable/Disable any player area with just a click. Show/Hide the collection of game components with just a click. ~Notes~ This is my attempt at remastering my old version of this mod. It is heavily scripted and may have errors. Please feel free to leave bug reports, suggestions or general discussion. Karim Chakroun aka. carthaginian has so wonderfully redesigned the original Magic Realm graphics, bringing the game to life more than it has ever been. He has also graciously given me permission to use them for this mod. ~Latest Update~ Highlights Moved the Chart of Appearances and the Chart of Bounty closer together. Added a pause prompt in the setup utility before dwellings are revealed. Modified the map generation to more evenly distribute the tiles. Less clusters of dwellings for example. Bugfixes Fixed an error when attempting to automatically setup dwellings with no map tiles in play. Reset white players player aid to original state. Removed a couple of spare components added when testing code. Updated regeneration reminder to check new chart position.
