GWENT: The Witcher Card Game (Scripted)

Gwent is a 2-player card game that pits two armies against each other on the field of battle. Each player takes turns placing one card on the battlefield at a time. At the end of each round, the players total the strength of all Unit Cards on their respective sides of the battlefield. The player with the highest total strength wins the round. The first player to win 2 rounds wins the game. Features Score Counters Players take turns playing one card at a time. When placing cards on the board, each player’s score will be automatically counted. Game Board Players may pass if they wish to. Passing means sitting out the entire round, and the other player is free to keep playing cards from their hand until they also choose to pass. Weather Cards modify the strength of Unit Cards on the battlefield. Change the state of affected card rows to symbolize this. Gem counters are used to track the number of rounds lost. After each round, the losing player flips over a gem. Leader Cards grant players a special ability. When a leader’s ability is used, flip over the crown token to symbolize this. Summon Bags Unit and Leader Cards have special abilities. When needed, grab the required cards from these bags.
