SuperStructures adds a complete second floor to Supermarket Simulator. Buy the upgrade and start building your new store, the upstairs space is fully accessible by NPCs. Place shelves, fridges, displays, racks, scales, signs. Stock products on the upper floor and watch customers and staff ascend the stairs and elevator.

The mod does nothing until you buy it. To use the second floor, you'll need to unlock all of the shop and storage room expansions first. Then you'll be able to purchase the second floor upgrade from the Management screen of the in-game computer. The first load takes a while as SuperStructures reads your game to make the appropriate modifications, subsequent loads should be faster.

I recommend using SuperRestockers to add more restockers, you'll need them. But I've noticed that three janitors and two security guards seem to be enough for now, please let me know how your experience is.

Features

- Customers shop upstairs and carry their items down to pay. Checkouts stay on the ground floor by design. When a customer has no available checkout, they will go downstairs to wait.

- Paint, decorate, and rearrange the upstairs like the rest of the store.

- Available in 20 languages.

- Save-safe by design. The mod never writes into the game's own save files, it utilizes a custom-built routine to sidecar all SuperStructures save data to a seperate file.

How to Unlock the Second Floor

Open the in-game computer, go to the Growth tab of the Management screen and look for the Second Floor card after the regular store expansions. You need to own every store expansion and every storage expansion first. The default price is $500,000, you can change it in the config file.

What Works Upstairs

Customers browse and shop upstairs, then carry their products down to pay. Restockers stock the upstairs fixtures, janitors clean up there, security guards chase shoplifter
