A decoration framework for Supermarket Simulator.

SuperDecor is a decoration framework for Supermarket Simulator plus the tools to build decor for it. Buy items from the in-game SuperDecor Shop, place them around your store and arrange them precisely with on-screen gizmos. The framework handles static and animated props, interactive items and physics props you can bump and roll.

This is an early release, and the focus is the framework and the creation tools rather than a finished decor library. It includes a small set of test objects for now: a few cubes, a chrome torus, a waving ribbon and a ball. They are not meant to be real decor. They are there so you can see each part of the system working, and so creators can start building against the API right away. Proper first-party decor is on the way.

Anyone can build new decor and share it. The SuperDecor Expansion Pack Generator browser tool turns a 3D model into a drop-in pack with no code at all, and there is a C# API for items that need custom behavior.

Features

An in-game decor shop

Browse every installed item, grouped by category, each with a detail panel and a price. Add what you want to your cart and check out through the game's normal flow. Newly installed packs appear here automatically.

Place and arrange (Decor Edit Mode)

Press B to enter Decor Edit Mode. Aim at a placed item and click to pick it up, then move it, change its height, rotate it, and nudge it along the surface with the arrow keys. Aimed items get a highlight outline so you always know what you are about to grab.

Precision Mode

Press G while editing for exact control: on-screen move, rotate, and scale gizmos plus a numeric panel, with undo and redo. The camera detaches for free flight: move with WASD, ascend and descend with Space and Z, and hold the middle mouse button to look around.

Animated decor

Decor can move on its own, with nothing to set up. Animation plays automatically once an item is placed. The animated test objects in this release (a breathing cube, waving ribbon and a couple of spinning cubes) show it running, and the same system drives anything a creator builds, such as a ticking clock or a turning fan.

Physics decor

Some props have real physics. Bump them and they roll. The orange test ball is the example in this release. The framework holds a physics prop steady while you reposition it and restores its resting place when you reload.
