Smooth checkouts are finally back in the new Co-Op Update!

Since the release of version 1. 2 and the multiplayer/co-op mode, most old checkout mods broke or cause heavy crashes (PlayerManager NullReferenceExceptions) when a customer tries to pay by card. Furthermore, the new network code made automatic cash calculation extremely difficult.

After a lot of tinkering, analyzing the new game code, and tracing the network logic, here is the solution: A mod built from the ground up that tricks the checkout system without crashing the game's multiplayer code!

  As soon as the customer places their card on the terminal, the payment is confirmed in the background within a split second. You don't need to interact with the terminal at all anymore. The annoying multiplayer crash bug has been completely bypassed and fixed![/]

  []💵 100% Exact Cash (The New Trick):

  Instead of fighting with the cash register screen and the network code, this mod targets the customer's logic directly. Every customer paying with cash will now always have the exact amount of money ready! You simply take the bills, the register instantly shows 0. 00 change, and you only need to press Space/Confirm to finish the transaction.[/]

  []Start the game once to let BepInEx generate its folder structure (BepInEx/plugins).[/]

💡 Background & Credits

This mod is the result of an intensive collaboration. Since the Co-Op update heavily changed the internal structures of the checkout system, a completely new approach was needed. I analyzed the game files, tracked down the errors in the new multiplayer code, and tested the mod extensively. The code itself (about 80% of the work) was written in collaboration with the Google AI Gemini, which helped me write the perfect Harmony patches to safely overwrite the game's parameters on the fly.
