Nel'Vari Wildcat as a Pet

Hello! This is my first mod for Sun Haven. It is a simple texture replacement mod. It takes the Wildcats that show up in Nel'vari (when you plant in the alcoves) and replaces one of the pet kitty sprites. The folder includes an image for each replacement. You can replace one color of kitty, replace multiple, or even replace them all!

I just thought they were so cute and was a bit sad we couldn't adopt one lol.

Since I am still new, I am not sure how to replace the sprite when you're placing the pet down. Even though I replaced the black kitty for my testing, the placement sprite still shows the white kitty, not the black one or the wildcat lol. But the mod works just fine. The kitty icon on your bar may show up as the original cat color at first, but once placed it will be the wildcat. Picking the wildcat back up will refresh the icon properly going forward.

Additionally, this is only a visual replacement mod. The text for each kitty is still their original name. Ex. "Pet Black Kitty" instead of "Pet Wildcat"

The wildcat will still purr when you pet them. I also drew custom faces to match the original kitty animations (blinking, happy face) so they look a bit more natural instead of never ever blinking lol. Additionally, I made sure to include the wildcat's original ear flop animation during blinking and petting animations.

Instructions

1. Download and install BepinEx AND Custom Textures Updated.

2. Download this mod manually.

3. Inside the zip file, there will be a texture file for each kitty color. All wildcat sprites are the same.

4. Pick one (or multiple) that you want to replace.

  []tuxedo_catpet_black_white = black & white kitty

  []catpet_calico = calico kitty

  []catpet_gray = gray kitty

5. Place the image files in your game directory: steamapps\common\Sun Haven\BepInEx\plugins\CustomTextures

6. Launch game!

Without cheats you will need to wait for your desired kitty to come to the pet store! This mod does not automatically give you the pet!
