Base Batteries (Below Zero)

Description

Base Batteries makes the Power Cell Charger function as base energy storage in Subnautica: Below Zero.

When power cells are inserted, their charge is exposed to the base power network so your base can draw from them and recharge them as needed.

This mod affects Power Cell Chargers only.

The small battery charger is intentionally ignored.

Main features

• Power Cell Charger contributes inserted cell energy to base power.

• Uses real cell charge/capacity values (IBattery) in real time.

• Works per-base (no cross-base power bleed).

• Handles build/deconstruct and load flow cleanly.

• No new craftables or UI replacement.

• Lightweight and silent (no debug log spam).

Requirements

• Subnautica: Below Zero

• BepInEx 5.x

Compatibility notes

• Safe with most mods that do not replace charger/base relay internals.

• If another mod directly rewrites charger power behavior, load-order conflicts are possible.
