Simple Speedometer

Mod adds a simple configurable speedometer near stat radials, it shows speed of character or a ride.

Its contextual by default - shows up when speed is higher than 0. 5 m/s and disappears when lower. Default key is F6 to disable/enable, F7 to change units (km/h - m/s - mph).

Text becomes yellowish when speed is high and orangish when its very high.

You can adjust widget position, keybinds, size, speed thresholds, text outline etc, renewal rate etc. in Config.lua.

Bear in mind, character/vehicle speed in game isn't especially realistic (walking is ~15 km/h), so by default I made speed values "adjusted" (x3. 6 lower) to feel closer to real life speeds. If you treasure "game realism" - honest math how fast you can reach the distant point - switch speed_mode to raw in config.lua.

Installation

Install UE4SS for SN2.

Extract Speedometer folder to ...\steamapps\common\Subnautica2\Subnautica2\Binaries\Win64\ue4ss\Mods.

Uninstallation

Delete installed mod folder from Mods folder.
