Active Camouflage Standalone

Standalone version of my Biomod Active Camouflage mod.

This mod adds Active Camouflage as a separate UE4SS Lua ability with its own dedicated keybind.

Unlike the original version, it does not replace or rework the vanilla Pathfinder active biomod slot. That means you can keep using the vanilla active biomod/dash behavior normally while also having Active Camouflage available as an extra standalone ability.

Default keybind: B

The camouflage effect uses the same invisibility behavior as the original mod, including duration, cooldown, refresh handling, and activation/deactivation notifications.

Requirements

Configuration

You can change the keybind by editing:

ActiveCamouflageStandalone/Scripts/main.lua

Near the top of the file, change:

local ACTIVE_KEY_NAME = "B"

to any key name supported by UE4SS, for example:

local ACTIVE_KEY_NAME = "C"

Installation

1. Extract the ActiveCamouflageStandalone folder into:

Subnautica2\Subnautica2\Binaries\Win64\ue4ss\Mods

2. Restart the game.

The mod includes enabled.txt, so you do not need to manually edit mods.txt.

Uninstallation

Delete the ActiveCamouflageStandalone folder from:

Subnautica2\Subnautica2\Binaries\Win64\ue4ss\Mods
