Mikastray

Hiya! It’s Sunks here!

Thank you for installing my first mod! I decided to make it on a whim one day for a VTuber I watch, and it became way bigger than I ever intended. But here it is today, with 100+ new voice clips, multiple backpack skins, and much more!

Unfortunately, there were some things I could not change—the beginning cutscene, for example, since it’s pre-rendered. But I hope you enjoy it either way!

Installation instructions

The instructions are simple, but I know some people aren’t very tech-savvy, so I’ll go through them step by step.

Open Steam and right-click the Stray icon on the right.

A menu should pop up with the options Play, Add to Favorites, Add To, Manage, and Properties.

Hover over Manage. You should see another menu pop up, with Browse Local Files as the second option. Click it, and a folder should open.

Click the folder titled Hk_project, then Content, then Paks. There, you should see a file called Hk_project-WindowsNoEditor.pak. DO NOT TOUCH THIS FILE—IT’S THE ENTIRE GAME.

Now that you have this folder open, go back and open the folder called Mika Mod. It should be right next to this text file. Copy and paste the file named Hk_project-WindowsNoEditor_Mika_Stray_Mod_Official.pak, along with your selected backpack skin, into the Paks folder. They’re already properly named and ready to go, so there shouldn’t be any issues. The same goes for the backpack mods.
