Customizable Effects (1.1.0)

What can you do with this mod?

This mod allows the player to:

- Customize every existing status effect.

- Give yourself any effect.

- Clear all effects;

- Choose presets, among them - a realistic difficulty setting for those unhappy with the current game settings, to be played along with hard difficulty. It affects mainly status effects.

New gameplay features

This mod features 4 new status effects:

- Light sunburn: player gets this if they have sunstroke for a very short amount of time.

- Heavy sunburn: player gets this they have sunstroke for a long time.

- Recent broken leg: if a broken leg is splinted, the player will not be able to sprint for 1 in-game day.

- Reoccurring broken leg: if the player breaks their leg while having a splint, they will not be able to sprint for 2 in-game days.

These modded effects can be removed if you wish to play without them.

Suggest a good new status effect and it might get added!

Customizing effects

The whole effects part will need literal numbers to be put in in order to work as you want it. For example, if you want bleeding to reduce your health by 10 every in-game hour, its 'Health per hour: ' field should be '-10'.

If you want a status effect to stay on you infinitely (unless specifically removed by game or manually), 'Duration: ' field should be '-1'.

Status effect wise, the mod doesn't care if the player is on normal or hard difficulty - if you want difficulty dependent status effect values either turn the mod off (and restart) or choose a setting preset.

Instructions

To install the mod you must have Unity Mod Manager. Install the same way you install any other UMM mod. If you're having trouble, take a look at this tutorial by Speedy.

Latest version (1. 1. 0) features:

Improvements:

- The whole mod was remade from scratch because it was a horrible mess.

- Changed how some effects work.

- Effects were rebalanced a bit.

- More in-depth customization of effects.

- The mod settings menu is now way more pleasant to use and look at.

You can freely delete the 'SDCustomizableEffects.config' file if you wish as it's unneeded anymore.

New features:

- Ability to customize base calorie and thirst drain speed.

- Player receives UV from 7:45 to 15:45 instead.
