Somewhere in my modlist, something changed the ability to salvage Electronics from spaceship wrecks, and because of that I was completely locked out of all electronics research. This changes a single variable to make sure that won't happen. Compatibility fix for Old Earth Tech - Redux - Research Integration. Old Earth Tech - Redux - Research Integration modifies the prerequisites for Electric Grids, adding a requirement that Electronics must already be unlocked before Electric Grids can be researched. This can create a progression lock if Electronics are not discovered through salvage. Electric Grids requires Electronics, while Electronics Crafting requires Electric Grids, leaving no internal research path forward if Electronics cannot be obtained from another source. This mod removes only the “Electronics unlocked” prerequisite from Electric Grids. Electric Grids will still require: Metal Alloys to be unlocked. Rudimentary Power to be researched. Electronics Crafting retains its existing requirements for Electric Grids, Silicon, and a survivor with Crafting 1. No research costs, research times, recipes, resources, skill requirements, or other technology prerequisites are changed. This mod should be loaded after Old Earth Tech - Redux - Research Integration so that this prerequisite change takes priority. If this changes within the primary Old Earth Tech - Redux - Research Integration mod, I'm more than happy to remove this workaround. I mostly just didn't want the soft lock to continue, since I was two years into a game with no electronics. Version: 1. 00-002
