QoL Options

A comprehensive quality-of-life mod featuring customizable gameplay improvements. Set Custom Starting Survivors count, Skip Scenario Intro, Unlock Basic Field Research, Enable Console, remove objects from Multiple Object Window, set delivery priority for selected resources, Instant Device toggles and Custom Drying Rack Slots. Each feature can be individually toggled on or off to customize your experience. 1. CUSTOM STARTING SURVIVORS: (Default: Off) • I referenced injto4ka's amazing "Bonus Starting Survivors", but this feature differs slightly in that the amount you set is the amount of survivors you start with, and only the first four slots are randomly filled with survivors, the remaining slots are empty and require manual selection. 2. SKIP SCENARIO INTRO: (Default: On) 3. UNLOCK BASIC FIELD RESEARCHER: (Default: Off) • Unlocks basic field research, All none fruit bearing trees, bushes, dogs, manure, and feathers. 4. ENABLE CONSOLE: (Default: Off) • Accessed by pressing the backtick (`) key. 6. ENHANCED SELECTION LIST: (Default: On) • Improves the multi-selection interface by allowing you to Shift+click on items in the "Multiple Objects" window to remove them from your selection. • Shift+left click removes all objects in that group. • Shift+right click keeps only the objects in that group and removes all others. 7. PRIORITY HAUL: (Default: On) • Adds a "Haul" button to resource piles that marks them for priority delivery. • Just to be clear, priority Haul unlike direct command does not mean immediate delivery. • The game's carry/delivery system is very rigid, queued resources will still take precedence and newly generated resources need to register for storage space before being delivered. • However the Haul button will ensure that prioritized resources, especially those scattered far from base, would be delivered significantly sooner than before. 8.
