Jaggid's Improved Camels - Redux

Maintained fork of Jaggid Edje's Jaggid's Improved Camels, published with the original author's permission. This fork ships the same camel changes via a composition-safe architecture (no class-redefinition), fixes the male-camels-produce-milk issue, and adds proper integration with the Milking mod plus a temperature-driven, two-recipe fermentation system grounded in real Chal/Shubat preparation. Requires SAD_CommonLib. This mod tweaks the camels in the game, with the following changes: Camel spawns slightly increased. Tamed camels can be pet by survivors. Because who doesn't want to pet a camel. Tamed female camels produce milk every few days alongside fertilizer. Wild and male camels produce only fertilizer. Survivors can drink milk for a small happiness buff (+6), or, once winemaking has been researched, ferment it into Chal (also known as Shubat) in a fermentation barrel. Chal is a sparkling white, sour camel's-milk drink, mildly alcoholic and a Central Asian summer staple. Drinking it grants the standard alcohol effect plus a modest +10 happiness buff; lower than wine or ale (+18) because Chal is only 1. 1% alcohol. Two recipes are available: Chal (no starter): 50 Milk → 50 Chal. Bootstrap recipe relying on ambient bacteria. Optimal near 25°C (~48 hours); slower above and below that. Chal (with starter): 40 Milk + 10 Chal → 50 Chal. Cultured recipe, much faster, optimum near 30°C (~8 hours); slower in colder climates and again above 30°C as the dense culture is heat-stressed. Both recipes halt entirely at 0°C or below; site your fermentation barrel accordingly. Compatible with the Milking mod: when Milking is loaded it takes over milk handling (activity-driven, females-only) and Chal can still be brewed from its milk. Version: 1. 08-002
