Orbital Threats Ever completed a scenario, despite wanting to expand your fortress, just because map resources have been depleted? New Shrieker nest are far between. Sure, you could manufacture the carbon you need - but then you will need more scrap metal. At some point, expeditions take too long to be a viable scrap source, so you have to wait for the next spaceship to come falling down. This mod seeks to remedy this, extend and add a little sprinkle on top of the late game experience, by introducing 2 new events: Orbital Battle Shrieker Invasion Orbital Battle Countless flashes are lighting up all over the sky, suggesting a large scale confrontation is taking place close to orbit Any partially destroyed spaceships could get caught by the planet's gravity well, bringing debris crashing down Too many burning up in the atmosphere during entry, could pollute the air with toxic particles Shrieker Invasion Call it an invasion, panspermia or transpermia. No one knows where the Shrieker nests originate from, what their intentions are, or if they are somehow hitching a ride on comets to new worlds. What we do know is; they are here, and they are arriving in numbers this time! Mod options Mod options allow you to control relevant "Debris" and "Nest" spawn parameters and frequency. Their defaults are intended to avoid oversaturating the playing area, and avoid the events feeling excessive. You can go absolutely nuts, if you want to. But beware, survivors might get affected by too much carnage; if they have "Bloodlust" trait, it'll make then very happy - and the opposite if not.
