Samantha "Sam" Carter

Samantha "Sam" Carter grew up on the unforgiving streets, orphaned at just seven years old. Life could have hardened her, but fate intervened when an old master chef named Charlie found her curled up behind a bustling Michelin-starred kitchen. In exchange for a place to sleep and a scrap of food, Sam scrubbed floors and washed dishes — and learned. Charlie recognized her sharp instincts and fierce determination, teaching her the art of cooking from scratch. By her early teens, Sam was not just helping — she was dazzling, blending flavors and improvising dishes like a seasoned professional. At sixteen, driven by dreams of freedom and adventure, she stowed away on a ship bound for the frontier worlds. Sam’s sunny spirit survived every hardship; thanks to Charlie’s kindness, she remains a beacon of laughter and song even in the darkest times. Resourceful, fearless, and a true kitchen magician, Sam brings warmth and hope to any crew lucky enough to have her. Version: 1. 00-003
