Alma, the GeMod Combat Medic

As an old school medic, she signed up for the military because she believed a M. D. should be wherever her patients are. Severely wounded, she was transported to an undisclosed location and subjected to high-risk surgery. When she woke up, she learned that some of her organs were replaced with genetically altered counterparts. Dr. Burke's personal notes: "When a friend of a friend brought Alma to me in an induced coma, they had lost all hope for a medical miracle and I must confess I had some doubts of my own.
