Poppy Baker

Poppy had a miserable time at school. "They don't learn you nothing" she used to say. Well, if she had paid attention, she'd know the difference between 'learn' and 'teach'... Having left school in the East End of London at the age of 16 with no qualifications, finding work was hard. Until she got a job on a building site that is; simple labouring at first, but then learning the trade 'hands on'. She never looked back from there and built up an impressive construction and engineering skill set. Some people think, and some people do. It doesn't matter as long as you enjoy your job and are good at it.
