The Mercenary Outpost Scenario The confederacy offers a bounty to anyone that can establish a Hyper Relay in a sector without one - the governorship of a planet so long as the relay is maintained. It's an improbable task, and the risks are high - which is why the corporations don't attempt it. It's a long shot task, but if they succeed these settlers are set for life as the leaders of the only trade outpost in a newly navigable sector. "A new life is waiting for you on the off-world colonies." This work is a derivitive of the Military outpost scenario which many were complaining wasn't working correctly as they never had trade ships turn up or the trade pod, I am not claiming ownership of the origional but for the minimal changes which seem to have fixed it - let me know if you have any problems. This Mercenary Outpost scenario was created by Nox It has the hyper relay goal, and you can build a trade shuttle but your six person team is completely broke and has only basic equipment. The goal is to establish a stable trade outpost around the hyper relay, for which your team will be awarded ownership of the planet to govern as you see fit. Features: Combined trader and military outpost scenarios. Mercenary gear instead of military gear to start. 6 person starting team with a larger max colony size and more random joins. Starting equipment is basic, partial armor and pistols. No starting funds. Work your way up from the bottom. Acess to trading shuttle, and trade story bits.
