Four individuals have escaped from a strange asylum / lab that was conducting experiments on them -- this is their story. While captive in the facility they were subjected to various procedures intended to erase memory of their prior crimes and suppress their various mental afflictions. While this worked well while they were in the facility the machines which kept their long term memories suppressed finally broke down and this allowed them to formulate a plan to escape and most of their mental afflictions returned, in stronger forms - quite unfortunately. Once clear of the facility they found themselves with only vague conceptual memories of their life past the point they were admitted into the prison lab but seem to have maintained their skill sets, which seem now enhanced in some way. Only now that they have found themselves on the new planet their minds have cleared and they must find a way to adapt, make due, and survive.
