The Mercenary Outpost Scenario The confederacy offers a bounty to anyone that can establish a Hyper Relay in a sector without one - the governorship of a planet so long as the relay is maintained. It's an improbable task, and the risks are high - which is why the corporations don't attempt it. It's a long shot task, but if they succeed these settlers are set for life as the leaders of the only trade outpost in a newly navigable sector. "A new life is waiting for you on the off-world colonies." This is the Mercenary Outpost scenario, which is a mash-up of the Trading scenario and the Military Outpost scenario. It has the hyper relay goal, and you can build a trade shuttle but your 6 person team is completely broke and has basic gear. The end goal is to establish a stable trade outpost around the hyper relay, for which your team will be awarded claim to the planet to govern as you see fit. Features: Combined trader and military outpost scenarios. Mercenary gear instead of military gear to start. 6 person starting team with a larger max colony size and more random joins. Starting equipment is basic, partial armor and pistols. No starting funds. Work your way up from the bottom. Acess to trading shuttle, and trade story bits.
