Alma, the GeMod Combat Medic

“Where the art of medicine is loved, there is also love for humanity” - Hippocrates. Combat was something Alma never truly wanted to experience. As an old school medic, she signed up for the military because she believed a M. D. should be wherever her patients are. Severely wounded, she was transported to an undisclosed location and subjected to high-risk surgery. When she woke up, she learned that some of her organs were replaced with genetically altered counterparts. Dr. Burke's personal notes: "When a friend of a friend brought Alma to me in an induced coma, they had lost all hope for a medical miracle and I must confess I had some doubts of my own. Thankfully Gillian had some independently-grown human organs just sucking nutrients in their vats and well...there was the miracle. When she was back on her feet, I liked her enough to offer her a job. The answer is yet to come."
