Stable Enchant

Description

Stable Enchant lets you choose which affix an Enchantment Scroll applies to weapons, armor, and jewelry. It replaces only the random affix selection while preserving the original enchantment quality, value ranges, durability, identification, scroll consumption, sounds, action log, and turn progression.

Installation instructions

1. Install ModShardLauncher (MSL) v0. 12. 1. 0 or a compatible version.

2. Copy StableEnchant.sml into the ModShardLauncher Mods folder.

3. Enable Stable Enchant in MSL.

4. Rebuild or patch the game data through MSL, then launch Stoneshard.

5. Open Settings > MODS > Stable Enchant and select an affix for weapons, armor, and jewelry.

Select Random to restore the original random behavior. For long lists, use the settings page scrollbar to move the selector upward before opening it.

Main features

- Separate enchantment choices for weapons, armor, and jewelry.

- Complete native Enchantment Scroll pools: 26 weapon affixes and 20 armor/jewelry affixes.

- Includes evasion, block, physical, nature, magic, damage-type, control, bleeding, and pain resistance affixes.

- Random option preserves the unmodified game behavior.

- Uses the game's native localized attribute names.

- Menu title, category labels, and Random option automatically support all 12 in-game languages.

- Does not alter enchantment values or any non-random scroll mechanics.

Requirements

- Stoneshard version 0. 8. 2. 10.

- ModShardLauncher v0. 12. 1. 0 or a compatible release.

- No additional mods or resources are required.

After updating this mod, fully close Stoneshard and MSL, reopen MSL, and rebuild the game data so the new package is applied.
