CaravanBackpack

Description

Open your backpack anywhere and the caravan stash opens right along with it — no walking back to the caravan.

The stash only appears when YOU open the backpack yourself (hotkey or button). Chests, corpses, merchant trade and every other container UI stay 100% vanilla — this is a whitelist design, so every present and future container is safe by default. Toggle the link ON/OFF with F5.

Installation instructions

1. Install ModShardLauncher - Enhanced (MSL-E) if you haven't already.

2. Drop `CaravanBackpack.sml` into your MSL-E `Mods` folder.

3. Launch Stoneshard through MSL and enable CaravanBackpack in the mod list.

That's it. No config files needed.

Main features

- Remote Stash Access — Open your backpack from anywhere on the map and the caravan stash panel appears right alongside it. No need to walk back to the caravan.

- Whitelist Safety (v1. 1) — Only reacts to a genuine player-initiated backpack opening (hotkey or button). Chests, sarcophagi, shelves, corpses, barrels, merchant trade, caravan storage and all other container UIs remain completely vanilla. No blacklists, no per-window patches — safe by design for current and future game updates.

- F5 Toggle — Press F5 to switch the backpack-stash link ON or OFF. Default: ON. The toggle takes effect the next time you open your backpack (never pops a stash over an already-open window). Every F5 press writes a log line so you can always verify the current state.

- Zero Stash Modifications — Does NOT change stash capacity, item data, or distance-check scripts. Reads directly from the game's own `global.caravanStashDataList`. You see the exact same stash no matter where you are.

- Lightweight — Only 4 small, targeted edits to the backpack open logic. No new assets, no UI overhauls.
