Overflow Workaround Components (3.7)

Update (2026-07-07): At this point in time, I no longer heavily play Stellaris and as such, I have no present plans to take a look at this little component mod. That being said, it was just a bunch of definitions I hammered out in a weekend, so like I've stated before, y'all can do whatever you want with this. I have no idea if it still works with the latest updates to Stellaris, well, if they haven't changed the modifiers, then it probably does, but I don't know. ----------------- A set of components I made for my own use to workaround hull/armor/shield overflow on giant ships when a ton of other modifiers are applied. As I only use them on systemcraft / herculeans these components are L slot only. No research required. Obviously, use with caution, your ships can poof out of existance if they end up with negative hull or negative hull regen. When to use? ----------------- For regen overlfow, select the fleet with suspected regen overflow, and deal damage to them somehow (I personally use console damage command), and then wait. If you see the bars going down, then it's regen has overflowed. For shield/armor overflow, the shield/armor bars will just disappear outright. For hull overflow, it goes poof. ----------------- Components Included: 1. -25% Hull 2. -1% Hull Regen 3. -25% Armor 4. -1% Armor Regen 5. -25% Shield 6. -5% Shield Regen Compatibility: No files modified, no events, nothing else but new component_template and component_sets. Toss this anywhere in your load order, really.
