📋 About This Mod
Without elections or factions Hiveminds feel a bit ... bland. This mod is an effort to give them something in that space, a Collective Focus. 2018-04-05 Mod updated with a new design, each focus now lasts long enough for 3 to be active at one time. The intent with this was to make it feel more natural; instead of a focus suddenly ending after you pick up a new one. I reduced the effects so as not to give completely ridiculous bonuses. With this system the emergency edict could no longer let you chose a new one so it lets you choose an edict to remove instead. Features: - Every 10 years or so (starting at the first year) you will get to choose a Focus - These have large positive modiifers coupled with a negative - You get to choose between 3 random Focuses at an infulence cost or you can roll the dice and let your hivemind decide - If you need to remove a focus there is an empire edict to use At the moment the mod should also work for machine empires, but since i do not have syntheic dawn I have not been able to test it. I can't promise its completely balanced but it should at least make your Hive playthroughs more interesting.
