Ultimate CNS Weapon Carry - Hip and Back Sword Display

Description

Normally Eve's sword simply disappears when she sheathes it. Ultimate CNS Weapon Carry keeps it on her body. Once the blade is sheathed, it rests at her hip, lying horizontally just like Scarlet's sword, or diagonally across her back, with or without its scabbard. Draw it and combat plays exactly like the base game. Sheathe it and it goes right back where you left it.

This page has two parts: a small framework you install once, and swords built for it. The launch set is Scarlet Sword and Mann Katana. Both support every carry mode. More blades will follow as I find the time. Track the mod to be notified when they arrive.

Installation instructions

• []Install the requirements below and check that CNS works in game.[/]

  []Framework (once): copy CNSWeaponCarry.pak, CNSWeaponCarry.utoc and CNSWeaponCarry.ucas into

  ...\StellarBlade\SB\Content\Paks\LogicMods\Create the LogicMods folder if you don't have it yet.[/]

  []Swords: copy each sword's folder (the .pak, .utoc, .ucas and .dekcns.json together) into your CNS mods folder, for example

  ...\StellarBlade\SB\Content\Paks\~mods\Scarlet Sword\[/]

  []Start the game, open the CNS menu and equip the sword in the weapon slot.[/]

  []Sheathe the sword and press F9 to switch carry modes.[/]

Updating: overwrite the old files.

Uninstalling: delete the files you copied. Nothing else is changed.

Main features

• []Five carry modes, switched with F9 while the sword is sheathed:

  []Mode 1: at the hip, with scabbard (default)[/]

  []Mode 2: at the hip, bare blade[/]

  []Mode 3: across the back, with scabbard[/]

  []Mode 4: across the back, bare blade[/]

  []Mode 5: hidden[/]

[]Scarlet-style hip carry: the blade lies horizontally across the hip, matched to the pose of Scarlet's own sheathed sword.[/]

[]Back carry: the blade crosses the back diagonally, hilt over the right shoulder, edge facing up.[/]

[]One setting for every sword. Your chosen mode is remembered between play sessions.[/]

[]Photo Mode and Camp work properly: no stray sword floating over Eve's head, no flickering blade.[/]

[]Your hairpin is left alone. It stays under CNS's own hairpin toggle.[/]

[]Replaces no game files. Each sword is its own CNS entry, and CNS swords not made for Weapon Carry work exactly as before.[/]
