Perfect Engine Optimizer (No Stutters-More FPS-Eve in High Definition)

Description

The purpose of this mod was to optimize every aspect of the game, making better use of resources to deliver a much smoother and more consistent experience. Multiple internal systems were carefully tuned to minimize stuttering, increase FPS stability, reduce input lag, and improve overall visual clarity. This is a solution to Stellar Blade's major problem with stuttering and poor VRAM optimization. Finding the solution was a nightmare after editing the Engine.ini file countless times. There are several Stellar Blade optimization mods very similar to this one, but the unique aspect of the engine is that I removed a parameter that caused Eve to load at a low resolution at all times, therefore, it will now look perfect at the texture quality you set in the options.

THIS MOD CAUSES ABSOLUTELY NO LOSS OF QUALITY

The parameter I removed was r. Streaming. LimitPoolSizeToVRAM=1. This caused the VRAM to be abruptly limited, resulting in Eve loading with very low-quality textures. Now, with this parameter removed, that problem is fixed, and Eve looks as it should.

This is an absolutely necessary adjustment; nobody wants to see characters with textures from a 2000s game, right?

Installation instructions

Place the downloaded file here:

C:\Users\AppData\Local\SB\Saved\Config\WindowsNoEditor

You must confirm the replacement, and then you can test the optimization within the game.

If you wish to uninstall, simply delete the Engine.ini file, and when you launch the game again, a new one will be created with the default parameters.

It's worth noting that all of this work was done thanks to hours of testing, and using community-provided parameters.

May 19 Update: This update introduces deeper optimizations to Unreal Engine's memory management and streaming, focusing on eliminating residual stuttering while scrolling, checkpoint synchronization issues, and frame rate instability during gameplay. The new changes allow the engine to process resource streaming, shader preparation, and asynchronous loading much more aggressively and efficiently in real time. Because of this, the CPU, GPU, SSD, and memory subsystem remain more active during gameplay, which can sometimes result in higher hardware utilization, increased power consumption, or increased fan noise. This is normal and beneficial, as the system now works proactively rather than delaying resource loading until the exact moment they are needed in the game.
