Engine Tweaks - It's Something

Description

Thought I would share an adjusted engine.ini file with everyone. I originally used the mod Ultimate Engine Tweaks from P40L0X. With his blessing I am uploading my own version. I could not tell you from what version of their mod I started with my own tweaks, but I hope this one comes in handy. Oh, almost forgot, I do have HDR on, so that might need to be changed in the file.

I am no programmer or professional in this field, so the likelihood of myself being of any assistance is incredibly low. And for the life of me I cannot remember what other mods might be noticed in the screenshot.

Installation instructions

Press Win+R to bring up the Windows Run function. Then copy & paste the following:

%localappdata%\SB\Saved\Config\WindowsNoEditor

Once in the file location, it is recommended to make a backup of your original engine file in case of any issues. Should you accidently not do this, just delete the engine.ini file and when you relaunch the game, it will generate a new one. Adjust your settings as need.

Copy the engine.ini file from this mod and replace the one in the game folder.

Right-click the file, go to properties and verify that the file is set to Read Only. (This will help prevent any unintended adjustments to the file.)

Main features

I used the original file to take away the stuttering and screen tear I was seeing often without any mods. This worked great, then I got greedy and wanted more.

Requirements

If you feel up to it, you can always disable Read Only and make adjustments yourself. Everyone will have different spec for their computer, so my own might not quite align with yours. When adjusting the file as a text document I use Ctrl+F all the time and look for what I want to adjust. Your preferred search site will help you narrow down what may need adjustment, like searching for what will change HDR or resolution as an example.
