⚠ Weather Warning — IC10 Storm Alert Flashlight · Klaxon Alarm · 15s Lead · storm-aware A compact, robust IC10 script that watches your weather station and warns you in time before the next weather event — with a warning light for the whole countdown and a klaxon siren in the final seconds. All devices are addressed by prefab type + labeler name (lbn/sbn), so no fixed pin assignments are needed. Values are written only on state change, meaning no unnecessary network traffic. Features Warning light turns on as soon as an event is pending and stays on for the entire countdown. Klaxon alarm sounds during the final 15 seconds before the event (lead time is adjustable). Status code on the IC housing display (db Setting) for quick diagnostics. Write-on-change: light, alarm and status are written only on an actual state change. Cleanly named access via labeler name — other devices of the same type on the network are left untouched. Special case: negative event time Some builds / weather stations report a negative remaining time for the next event and skip the regular 0–15 second window entirely. With classic "only if time > 0" logic the siren would never fire in that case. This script handles exactly that: the alarm is gated on time ≠ 0 instead of time > 0. As a result it fires both during the normal countdown (0 15) 2 — countdown (alarm, 0 < t ≤ 15) 3 — event running (light on, alarm off, t = 0) 4 — overdue (alarm, t < 0) ⚙ Adjustable values alarmLead — lead time in seconds (default 15) alarmSound — klaxon sound via Mode (default 12) alarmVolume — volume (default 100) Notes Atmosphere required: A klaxon needs air pressure to be audible — on the bare Martian surface it stays nearly silent.
