Resource Overhaul and Industrial Evolution (ROIE)

En: This mod completely overhauls the resource system, turning coal and fuel extraction into a multi-stage technological process and adding new late-game possibilities. Planetary Changes: • All ice resources except water have been removed from planets. • Coal has been removed from planetary surfaces. New Production Chain for Obtaining Coal: Stage 1: Biomass. Grow plants and process the harvest in a Recycler to produce biomass. Stage 2: Charcoal. Burn the obtained biomass in a Furnace to produce charcoal, which replaces regular coal in recipes. Stage 3: Deep Mining. True coal can now only be found at great depth. To mine it, you will need to design and construct a Deep Miner. Late Game and Production Expansion: For further development, you will require vast quantities of fuel gas, produced via electrolysis. This fuel unlocks two strategic paths: Conquering Space: Build a Rocket to send it to other celestial bodies to mine ores and ices (gases) not found on your starting planet. Developing Trade: Construct a Landing Pad for traders. This will allow you to buy gases, unique items, and resources from them, as well as sell your own production surplus.
