📋 About This Mod
Created 15.07.2022 Mimas Outpost with 5 Windtunnels I always wanted to try out Turbine Generators so I did in this small & compact base project. This base as it is will keep you very much alive. It's not overly automated cause there's just not enough power and I think I've worked already too many hours on this base, so I'll post this world as it is ;) here's the features of the base: POWER: - 5 Windtunnels generating 900W each for a total of 4'500W constantly 24h - Solar Panels around the base which will generate around 5000W peak during the day Of course Solar Power is not great on Mimas but I'll take that 5000W all day. I could have also built a Gas Generator but this wasn't the idea of this base, also you would need a much bigger cooling solution as well. There's also a backup Coal Generator which kicks in if battery drops under 50%. But you should be good for many days as long as you don't use all the lights and machines at ones and keep shutting off stuff and only power up stuff you need. There's some handy buttons around to do so. Something about the Windtunnels, they run 10 Turbine Generator each and are pressurized with Nitrogen. You don't need much to prime them in the beginning. But you should never touch them again. they seem to very very slowly rising in pressure inside but this really shouldn't be a problem. they're inside reinforced walls. Also there's a gas sensor in each of the first rooms of the windtunnel. This pressure isn't really the one you wanna measure. Instead measure the pressure coming out of the filtration units first pipe. But don't worry I've been running these Windtunnels a long time without any issues. - Windtunnel 1 is attached to the base on top left of the Airlock - Windtunnel 2, 3, 4 & 5 are located in the Basement ATMOS: The atmos in the base is: 70 % Nitrogen (N2) 28 % Oxygen (O2) 2 % Carbon Dioxide (CO2) this should be enough CO2 for the plants. I've planted a couple of Darga Ferns for a bit of Oxygen production. If you wanna p
