Hydropoincs Basics

Description This is a very simple hydroponics set up. I quickly mocked this up in creative because of the recent inclusion of the hunger nechanics in the beta branch. You can go in and rip it apart to figure out exactly how it works and get some ideals on how to add a similar set up in your own base. Features The system uses a simple passive vent with a pressure regulator set to 25kPa to input the air mixture into the room and another passive vent with a back pressure regulator set to 20kPa to keep the air circulating and suck out the oxygen that the plants produce. The ideal temerature range for the plants is 30-40 degrees C so the heater is set to 35 and the cooler 40. This is controlled by a simple logic system that can be found underneath the room. The double doors has an active vent inside that will switch on if it detects any kind of pressure, this is you don't just vent all the gas out into space, probably best you don't have both doors open at the same time! You could set up a proper airlock to make this more efficient but I personally don't think it is needed for this. The logic to control the vent is also underneath the room. Currently the water and air mixture is just pumped into the room from the gas canisters but in your base you would want the inputs to come from your filtration system. The actual mix of gas you use doesn't really matter as long as there is CO2 in it and no pollutants.
