Four Zombie Damage Setups - Damage - Plague Damage

There are several zombie damage / plague damage mods out there but none of them do what I prefer. Most of them alter other aspects of the game other than damage. This mod only alters damage or blood plague infection amount from regular and blood plague zombies and nothing else. Each one is based on a different preferred style of play. They will work no matter what combat difficulty setting you have the game on. Bloaters, screamers, ferals and juggernauts are not affected in anyway.

Version 1: Instant death from any zombie attack or bite

This version makes any attack or bite that hits you from a regular or plague zombie kill your character instantly. When I say instantly I mean you will not go into fight for your life mode, you will just die, no second chances, the character is dead. This works by raising the attack damage of all attacks to 1000 in the game settings. The normal for the game is around 7 - 25 based on the attack type.

The attack damage also affects npc's as well, so they will also die from any attack or bite.

This version only alters the attack damage, nothing else in the game is altered.

Version 2: Instant death from any bite from any regular or blood plague zombie

This version makes any bite from any zombie, regular or blood plague, instantly kill the character no matter their health. When I say instantly I mean you will not go into fight for your life mode, you will just die, no second chances, the character is dead. This works by raising the attack damage of all bite attacks to 1000 in the game settings. The normal for the game is around 25 for a bite. All other non bite attacks from regular or blood plague zombies do normal game damage. Blood plague infection amounts are not altered. To be clear, being bit by a blood plague zombie will not give you instant blood plague, it will instantly kill you. The instant blood plague bite version is version 4.

I think that this version is the most lore accurate while still being challenging. In the first game it is made clear that bites from non blood plague zombies can turn a person into a normal zombie and in the second (this) game dying from normal zombies turns you into one while dying from blood plague turns you into a blood plague zombie, demonstrating that their are two versions of the zombie infection as the game implies. So this version makes being bit by a normal zombie also ' infect ' you with the ' normal ' zombie infection, hence why you die. And dying from a blood plague zombie bite also makes sense because the blood plague is killing you as well, both just instantly for the sake of the challenge.
