Ps1 Characters for state of decay

A VERY NON INTRUSIVE MOD:

the whole mod is just an extra folder in your "game" folder and it does not

touch any original game files. so your game will not break at all.

You want to revert changes it's easy, check uninstallation.

The game will be 100% untouched except for the character being replaced.

(be it whomever you chose or the one provided here)

Install Use vortex!

Or manually install by extracting the 7zip file to your base state of decay folder.

To Uninstall Use vortex again!

Or manually uninstall by simply deleting the characters folder under game in your base state of decay folder.

The mod adds a new folder to your game folder called characters, it was not there before. so you can safely delete it unless

you have other character mods you don't want to lose, in that case just look for game/characters/male/human/story_characters and delete

the marcus_campbell file and it is uninstalled.

It turns Marcus Campbell or Sam Hoffman in to one of 3 variations.

I also added versions for Ed Jones the guy in red cap in the beginning of the game, and Maya Torres

Which appears a bit later In storymode.

You can substitute any other character if you would like though, read the text that comes with the mod.

I'ts time state of decay got a downgrade, you know it's in, it's retro, it's meta and it's all the "rage", oh wait, wrong engine, its to "cry" for more!

Puns aside, Maybe you decided you want to get nostalgic when playing games from 2013.

Maybe you think it's real "meta" and rather ironic to play a zombie that is low poly in a high poly game.

Or maybe you would like to freak out a sibling or friend that plays state of decay

in your house, what ever the case you are sure to enjoy some general weirdness with this one.

You may also substitute any other hero preferably of the same sex as the character you chose(because of the  voice) in the story mode most are playable in breakdown as well,

I added a txt to the download where you can read about how to do that, it is easy modifying if you want to do it.

If you have previously downloaded skin mods from me, the text it brings is normally different, from now on

I will be using always, a similar txt that is much more complete, it will include males and females for all characters including for

the dlc Lifeline so you can really go wild with replacing anyone you like best.

The mod is compatible with any version of state of decay. including yose. but if you have the old version of state of decay it works too.

All this mod does is substitute

this characters clothing by utilising a text file to point the game to different resources, that's all, a simple text file.

The game has a way to work for potato computers, the way it does that, is to substitute every zombie in the game with a low poly version if you use minimum graphics.

What i did here is point the game to the resources where these low poly characters are, and there you have it, ps1 characters for you.
