Description ------------- NOTE Its understood this mod is not for everybody. If you prefer a lot of swearing in your game then just skip past this mod. This was made to add options to the game, not start a heated debate about killing cartoon zombies and cursing.

Playing SoD in a public coffee shop? You're spouse; friend; significant-other has friends over and they brought their kids? Your babysitting the neighbor-kids; cousins; niece; nephew and don't want them to hear swearing? But you just want to play the game? Now you can with the all new and amazing Profanity Filter mod where the worst of the swear words are bleeped out!

Technical ------------- Version 1. 0 of this mod changes the audio files for the original game, Breakdown and Lifeline. The subtitles were extracted from the games pak file and carefully looked over and each word on the list was modified into the word <Censored>. The audio files were extracted from the games dialog.pak file and all +16,000 of them were painstakingly listened to and each audio file that contained one of our listed words was beeped over using Audacity. Audacity beep settings: Sine 440 0. 1 Blacklist: Fuck Shit God (if followed by damn) Bastard Bitch Ass Dick Pussies

Bugs ------------- None found at this time

Installation ------------- Copy the 'Game' folder from this archive to your State of Decay main folder. For example: \Steam\SteamApps\common\State of Decay\ After install, the folder should look like this: \Steam\SteamApps\common\State of Decay\Game\dialog\class3\survivor-folders \Steam\SteamApps\common\State of Decay\\Game\languages\English.win.btxt Uninstall ------------- Delete the 'dialog' and 'languages' folder from the "\State of Decay\Game\" folder path.

Incompatibilities ------------- Subtitles: Any mod that makes changes to the language file will conflict wtih the subtitles. Audio: Any mod that makes changes to the audio files of the survivors will conflict. You can decide which ones you want to keep.
