📋 About This Mod

(Heads up: this mod is currently quarantined by Nexus Mods pending review.) This isn't a complete overhaul mod. It uses the vanilla game as its base, replaces the Zann Consortium with a new faction, adds new units and heroes, addresses the

Nexus Mods has currently quarantined this file while it undergoes their automated safety review. The main mod itself does not require the optional modding utilities included in the archive. The download also contains a small collection of third-party tools used during development, including utilities for editing maps, text, and images. These tools were included for convenience and are not required to play Mandalorian Uprising.

Because the file is currently under quarantine, I recommend waiting for Nexus Mods to complete its review if you are uncomfortable downloading an archive containing these additional tools. This quarantine status should not be interpreted as a confirmation that the mod contains malware. It means the file has been flagged for review and is currently unavailable until that review is completed.

If you would rather wait until Nexus Mods has completed its review, that is completely understandable.

Installation:

- You just need to extract the files from the ZIP folder. You should see three files inside: "MandalorianUprising", "EAW Terrain Editor" and "PerceptionFunctionG.dll".

- The Terrain Editor and PerceptionFunctionG are optional files that you don't need for the mod. But I thought I would throw them in so you can access the Map Editor if you don't already have it. If you don't have it and want to use it, just drag both of those files into the "Corruption" folder. (Additionally, inside the "Data" folder there is another folder called "Special Tools" from which I used to make custom encyclopeidia texts, uploaded new Icon Images, and a free installable Paint. NET program which I used to make said Icon Images. So, Merry Christmas! ^_^)

- Mod Installation: Open your file explorer and find, "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Star Wars Empire at War\corruption". Next, if you don't have one already, create a new folder called "Mods", and put the entire file "MandalorianUprising" into said Mods folder. Open Steam, go to the game's Properties and put in the empty Launch Options bar: MODPATH=Mods\MandalorianUprising

Disclaimers and Copyright:

- None of the models I created. I pulled the models (the 3D player models) from other mods because I was too lazy to learn how to do it myself. Half of the Icon Images of the units were also pulled from other mods, but the other half I had to create myself. I would like to include the original artists for the work I did pull from, but the mod I pulled the models from was a mod that restored a removed mod, so I have no way of tracking down the original artists. If at any time an original creator of the assets I used were to message me and provide proof they are the original creator and they ask me to remove their work from my mod, then I am more than willing to just take the entire mod down. I just posted it for fun, and it's not a big deal if I cannot publish it for others to play.

- AI helped assisted me in making encyclopedia entries, and checking for syntax errors whenever I made a mistake that caused the game to crash when opening. I put two (almost three) years into this mod, I was a one person team, and I didn't spend a single cent on this nor do I plan on making any money off of it. This was purely for fun and a LOT of people on steam where asking about the screenshots I was sharing. Any form of donations won't be accepted because this mod contains assets I did not create.

(AI could of helped speed things along... but I did not trust it with XML coding when I asked it for help one time and it generated fake lines of codes it hallucinated which I knew never existed in the files to begin with. But I'll still include the AI-Assisted tag regardless.)

- All none vanilla-based music are not mine and I'll happily display the original name of the song and the author. (Note, most of these soundtracks I just got off of suggestions from Spotify that I listen to a lot. That's not important, but I don't know if they come from movies that has bad stuff in it and I don't want anyone thinking I watch stuff like that.)
