Video Splash Screen

Have you ever felt like having a still image as a splash screen is boring? Never again! This mod swaps the still loading screen for a hyperspace loading video. Project file available if you want a custom video! I take requests for custom videos as well.

PLEASE NOTE: The video will fade to black shortly before the "normal" intro video plays (with the logo and everything). The length of time before this happens varies from run to run and largely depends on the performance of your computer and the quality of your settings.

The version I provided uses this YouTube video as the splash screen.

You can use the project file provided to replace the base video with your own. Use this frosty editor plugin I made to simplify importing videos. You still need to follow the encoding process as outlined in this video, but once you have the encoded video you can just press the import button added by my plugin. (A better tutorial for this will be coming soonTM.)
