Mute Annoying Frontend Static and Ambient Sounds

This mod mutes a few annoying sounds you hear while using the game's frontend.

These sounds are:

• []The global room ambient sound - This sound is most audible when the frontend medley music is not playing or has ended. However it still plays at a lower volume during the frontend medley music.

[]The menu hover static sound - This is a static looping sound that plays when you hover over the game mode menus in the frontend.

[]The match search static sound - This is a static looping sound that plays while finding a multiplayer match. When you click the button to find a match it first plays the matchmaking start sound to acknowledge the button press, then the static sound until a match is found and finally the match found acknowledgement sound when it finds a match. The first and last sounds are enough to give info to the player so I have muted the static sound that plays in between them.

With these sounds muted you can have some peace and quiet or enjoy your favourite frontend music without any annoying static sounds or background noise overlapping it!

  • []There are 2 download options. One zip file includes the mod file that mutes all 3 sounds. The other zip file has 3 separate mod files for muting each sound separately.

  • This mod should be compatible with any frontend visual and music mods. It will not mute the ambient sounds that come from the custom frontend map (like the sound of raindrops in the Kamino frontend or the forest sounds in the Takodana frontend).
