Apollo's Filmic Firefights Muzzle Flash Fix

IS IT MP SAFE?!: If it doesn't alter gameplay in any tangible way, such as giving you 9000x damage or something then it's MP safe, it's not hard to figure out.

So some of you may have noticed this like me but with Apollo's Filmic Firefights mod certain weapons do not cast light when fired like the others and this really bothered me, however my request to have the issue amended has gone unanswered. (Apollo is probably busy with actually important life things, unlike my sorry ass.)

So, I decided to do it myself.

Unfortunately I couldn't get it to work with the default muzzle flashes so I had to go into the files and change what muzzle flashes the weapons used. Yeah for some reason they use a different muzzle flash fx file than the others which was usually the cause of the issue.

My guess is DICE forgot to give those muzzle flashes an actual light source. See even without Apollo's mod the blasters do actually cast light as I came to find out. It's just much fainter than without the mod and even without Apollo's mod these 3 weapons didn't do that. So, my best guess is the devs just forgot to give these weapons a light source for the flash. Which given how hard to see it even is without Apollo's mod I can understand how that likely happened.

Anyway, this mod fixes the following blasters muzzle flashes:

• []A280 (The three burst fire assault variant to be specific.)

• []EC-17/Scout Pistol

• []Blurrg-1120

  I did this by changing them to use the same muzzle flashes the other rifles and pistols do.

  This is meant to be used with Apollo's Filmic Firefights, obviously.

  If Apollo manages to fix this bug on his own mod I will delete this mod as it will become unnecessary.

  KNOWN ISSUES:
  • []Leia's muzzle flash doesn't cast a light either and changing it to a different effect doesn't seem to fix it so fixing that is out of my ability.
