All SFX Modding Tools for STO

All the tools you need to create your own STO Sound Effects and the instructional video as well.

Required are:

• []Gibbed's Cryptic Tools (Replaces old Neverwinter HOGG Extractor. Use Gibbed. Cryptic. Unpack.exe instead of the old Gibbed. Cryptic. Bacon.exe to extract HOGG files)

  []FSBext

  []ALL AND I MEAN ALL of Visual C++ Redistributable packages (x86 AND x64)

  []DSSI v2. 1. 3

• A copy of Pershing33's awesome instructional video that is a step-by-step video on how to make your own SFX and inject them into STO's files

  You only need to download Audacity separately.

  You can skip the extraction process if the SFX you are looking for is not a brand new SFX released with the newest STO update, as I have extracted every FSB file available as of 2/17/2025.

  Credit for existing in-game SFX goes to the wonderful people who helped the development of STO.

  To anyone concerned about getting penalized for using my, or anyone else's mods: these only affect client-side files and have no effect on server-side files. If you wish to revert to default SFX, simply delete the file from the win32 folder, and you're good to go!
