Extending your tactical reach beyond the 100m limit

PingMod is a plugin for the StarRupture Mod Loader that removes the default 100-meter distance limit on player pings. Mark targets, resources, or threats at any range up to a configurable maximum.

:: HOW IT WORKS ::

The game's native ping system fires a raycast of length TraceLength from the player. If nothing is hit within that distance, the ping is discarded. PingMod is raising it to your desired range.

:: INSTALLATION ::

• []Install Mod Loader: Ensure you have StarRupture Mod Loader installed (dwmapi.dll in your Win64 binaries folder).[/]

  []Download Plugin: Get PingMod.dll from the files tab.[/]

  []Deployment: Place PingMod.dll in the

  Pluginssubdirectory (the same folder where your mod loader files reside).[/]

  :: CONFIGURATION ::

  On first launch, the mod creates an INI file at:

  %LOCALAPPDATA%\StarRupturePlugins\PingMod\PingMod.ini

  MaxPingDistanceM  | 500. 0   | 50 - 2000 | Max distance in meters (Clamped at 2km).

  Note on Stability: Values above ~2000 m risk hitting out-of-bounds skybox geometry and may cause server instability. The mod enforces a hard cap of 2000 m regardless of the configured value.
