MapExtension_Plugin
About This Mod
MapExtension_Plugin adds a live local map viewer for StarRupture.
While the game is running, the plugin reads local game data and makes it available to MapExtensionViewer.html, a browser page included with the mod. This lets you view your cargo network, teleporters, players, and the rupture-cycle timeline in a clearer way without replacing the in-game UI.
The goal is simple: make your world easier to read once your base and transport setup become harder to follow.
Features
-

[]Show links between cargo buildings[/]
[]Show requested items and amounts in cargo connections, without measuring actual throughput[/]

[]Browse a built-in world catalog: points of interest, plants, minerals, animal resources, buildings and zones[/]
[]Find extractor deposits and filter them by purity (Impure, Normal, Pure)[/]

Reorganized filter panel
-
[]Two tabs instead of three: Filters and Advanced. The Display tab is gone; each of its settings now sits next to what it affects[/]
[]Presets Network, Exploration and Harvest fit on one row. Technical (raw data) moved to the top of the Advanced tab as a switch[/]
[]New Resources section grouping everything you gather: the "Isolate one resource" shortcut, rupture sites, extractor deposits and hand-gathered resources, with a single All / None for the whole section[/]
[]"Isolate one resource" now lists rare resources apart from the very common ones[/]
[]"Live observations" is renamed Rupture sites (Ignitium and Star Tears)[/]
[]Cargo link settings ("Cargo links always visible", "Flag unlinked cargo points") now sit right under Cargo Dispatchers and Cargo Receivers, and are greyed out when both are hidden[/]
[]"Only my markers and zones" now heads the Filters tab and greys out the lists while it is on[/]
[]Fixed: the "All resources / Hide resources" buttons slid under the search bar when scrolling. The search bar is now the only one that stays pinned[/]
[]The Focus button stays available in the selection panel and the map toolbar[/]
Update
-
[]This release only changes the map viewer: replace MapExtensionViewer.html with the one from the viewer archive, and keep map-tiles and map-data next to it. The data format is unchanged, so the viewer update window will not open on its own[/]
[]Dedicated server: nothing to do, the sync protocol is unchanged (v6)[/]
[]Your saved filters are kept. If the Display tab was open, the panel reopens on Filters[/]

World catalog
-
[]The viewer now ships with a complete world catalog in a new map-data folder: points of interest (caves, obelisks, Geo Scanners, abandoned bases, Forgotten Engine, Orbital Lander, monuments), plants, minerals, animal resources, buildings and zones[/]
[]Extractor deposits are shown with their purity (Impure / Normal / Pure) and can be filtered by quality[/]
[]New map presets: Network (default), Exploration, Harvest (one resource at a time) and Technical (raw data, for the curious)[/]
