📋 About This Mod
Modest buffs to the Frontier + Mantis for players that don't want to rush to upgrading new ships at the start of each game.
The Frontier was pulled out of Royal Galaxy, whereas the Mantis has been in my personal patch for a while.
The gist is simply swapping the existing stuff for a slightly higher level version of the same components. Any other change caused issues. The Frontier weapons, for example, are now the lvl 16 variant instead of the lvl 0.
People have had issues on and off with the modded Frontier that I have never been able to replicate.
Since this only tweaks vanilla records, it is totally safe to add or remove if you have issues or if you just don't like it.
Why the specific tweaks I made rather than other more elaborate tweaks?
These were the ones that worked. Many other tweaks I tried, such as making them different engine classes or more elaborate changes like making The Frontier come with shielded cargo, caused issues. =)
