Sniper Orion Rifle

Hello, I posted a new mod which includes an updated Orion Sniper along with some other Orion Variants and a Laser Pistol.  Check it out. JKNoone Weapons Pack  As a result this mod will not be updated.

With the invent of lasers military snipes have long wanted a long range laser weapon that can be used to sniper enemies at long range.  And use same laser ammo as other laser weapons that are better suited for shorter range usage.  This was solved when the makers of the Orion introduced a variant setup for snipper. I sends more power to the lasers and thus the shot capacity is reduced to a third of standard firing capability.

Starting in V2 I made some changes to make it more sniper specific and moved the Argos crate out of the mine.  Look at article on version for details of changes.

Below are the stats at lowest player level (New game start).

Damage: Energy 200

Mag Size:  V2 5  V1 10 (Down from 30)

Range V2 300+ V1 158

Accuracy 83. 2

  There are two locations

  • []In Argos Extractors Mining Cave in a crate next to the  Arc Laser.

    []In a crate behind the Kiosk on landing pad of New Atlantis.

    []Note: crate also includes ammo.

    I recommend using Scope Improvements along with this mod.  It will add longer recon scopes to add to the Orion and thus increased range and other Scope improvements.  The mod can be found here.   https://www.nexusmods.com/starfield/mods/6301

    Q Can I mod this the same as the original Orion?

    A Yes. I copied and tweaked the original Orion so any mod items should work with this one.

    Credits to Frogs345 create of improved scope mod. Your mod inspired me to dive deeper into creation kit and update this to incude a long range recon scope by default.

    Note: mine should not interfere with other scope mods as mine adds unique records. You may see multiple scope options when at workbench.
