📋 About This Mod
Five custom ships available from the New Atlantis ship vendor.Ships range from Class A to C and are focused on light weight, high cargo and maximum fire power
First a Warning!
These ships will disappear if already purchased and you disable this mod and/or the Ship Vendor Framework mod.
There is a workaround that you can try though: If you've bought one of the ships and modify it in the ship builder menu by changing the name and some of the parts or changing the paint you may be able to keep the ship. Do this at your own risk though. The game might crash with the mods disabled and might load if you make a second attempt. Make a manual save before trying this though.
Installation
Install as usual with a mod manager
Manual installation: Unzip the file to your game folder Data directory. Activate the mod in Plugins.txt or via the in-game Creations menu
For the Creations menu hit 'T' for load order, then make sure Ship Vendor Framework and this mod are enabled. See below for load order.
Optional File for Transfer Spaceships added
Includes most of the mod ship files and 2 extra. Does not need any ship mods installed apart from Transfer Spaceships which can be removed after the ship has been imported. See instructions on the Transfer Spaceships mod page.
The NASA ship has several ship parts that may be locked behind inaccessible quests if you are on NG+. Importing this ship will grant you access to those parts.
You don't need to install the main mod file when using Transfer Spaceships.
Load order
Ship Vendor Framework must be loaded before this mod. In other words, this mod must be lower in your load order than Ship Vendor Framework.
With that out of the way, on to the description.
The mod adds five custom ships ranging from Class A to Class C
Most ships can land on a small landing pad
No glitch building techniques used - ships can be modified easily in the ship builder so feel free to swap out parts.
Standard ship parts used - no need for any other mod except for Ship Vendor Framework or no mods at all if you use the text file Transfer Spaceships method (after you've done the import).
Available at the New Atlantis ship vendor
None of the ships are player level locked. Be careful not to purchase a ship that is a higher class than your piloting level.
Mostly Nova parts are used with Taiyo cockpits for the great visibility that they offer.
Ships feature windows in all directions so you can check for scary monsters before venturing outside except for the 2 cheapest ships.
Design aims:
- High firepower
- Strong shield
- Plenty of cargo space
- 6 Crew or more
- Mobility as high as possible (will vary with your piloting skills)
- All crafting stations except for the 2 cheapest models
Parts have been chosen for light weight not hull strength which means that if your shields are about to go down, it's probably time to run aw
